न कवचं नार्गलास्तोत्रं कीलकं न रहस्यकम् |
न सूक्तं नापि ध्यानं च न न्यासो न च वार्चनम् || २ ||
कुंजिकापाठमात्रेण दुर्गापाठफलं लभेत् |
अति गुह्यतरं देवि देवानामपि दुर्लभम् || ३ ||
गोपनीयं प्रयत्नेन स्वयोनिरिव पार्वति |

धां धीं धूं धूर्जटेः पत्नी वां वीं वूं वागधीश्वरी |

Dhyanam (Meditation)
Shiva said:
Listen, O Devi, I shall tell you the most secretive Kunjika Stotram,
By whose influence the chanting of Chandi becomes auspicious. || 1 ||
No need for the Kavacham (armor), Argala Stotram, Keelakam, or Rahasyam,
No need for Suktam, Dhyanam, Nyasa, or even worship. || 2 ||
By merely reciting Kunjika, one attains the benefits of reciting the Durga Path,
This is extremely secretive, O Devi, and is rare even among the gods. || 3 ||
It must be kept hidden diligently, like one’s own private parts, O Parvati,
It can accomplish Marana (destruction), Mohana (enchantment), Vashya (subjugation), Stambhana (paralysis), and Ucchatana (removal) among others. || 4 ||
Merely by its recitation, one attains success, this is the excellent Kunjika Stotram.
